Privacy Policy
FishRuler (fish size measuring and catch logbook) is built with your privacy first. This policy explains what information the app handles.
FishRuler stores your catch logbook — photos, species, length, location name, notes, and date — only on your device. None of it is sent to us or to any outside server; there's no account or sign-up, and the app doesn't talk to any external service. Photos are only ever the ones you choose to add, based on the permission you grant to your photo library. Location is never captured automatically — the location field is a plain text name you type in yourself, not GPS coordinates. Measuring uses the camera and the LiDAR sensor, and the video and depth information are processed in real time on your device solely for measuring; the app never stores or logs that raw feed. You can delete any logged catch from within the app at any time. The only time a catch image leaves your device is when you deliberately export a catch card through the standard iOS share sheet. FishRuler runs completely offline and contains no advertising SDKs and no analytics tools.
