Thank you for using Print Karuta. Here's how to get started and answers to common questions.
How to use
Choose a karuta set
From the home screen, pick the theme you'd like to play. You can also choose the reading level (ages 3, 5, or 7).
Play
Tap "Play" to start the game. Listen to the card being read, then find and tap the matching picture card.
Tap "Print" to open the print preview. Choose picture cards, reading cards, or both, and print on A4.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Everything works offline. Once downloaded, you can play without any connection.
What ages is it for?
From around age 3 up through the early elementary years. Reading cards come in three levels: ages 3, 5, and 7.
What voice is used for reading?
The reading audio uses VOICEVOX: Zundamon.
What paper do I need to print?
Ordinary A4 paper works fine. Thicker paper gives a result closer to real karuta cards.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
There are no ads in the app, so you can let your child use it with confidence.
Do you collect personal data?
No. We collect no personal information or usage data whatsoever.
