How to use Cadento

Start your first session

Open Cadento and tap the play button to start a 25-minute focus session. The ring fills in as time counts down.

Pick a task (optional)

Tap "Select Task" to attach the session to something on your task list, so your focus time is tracked per project.

Take your break

When the timer ends, Cadento automatically moves you into a short break. Every few rounds, you'll get a longer break.

Check your Lock Screen

Enable the Live Activity to see your countdown on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island without opening the app.

Add a widget

Add a Cadento widget to your Home Screen to see today's focus minutes and current streak at a glance.

Review your stats

Open the Stats tab to see your daily totals, weekly chart, and activity heatmap build up over time.

Use your Apple Watch

Open the Cadento Watch app to start and control sessions directly from your wrist.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cadento free?
Yes. Cadento is free to download and includes the full Pomodoro timer, tasks, and basic stats. Cadento Pro unlocks detailed stats, the full activity heatmap, and all 12 themes.
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
It's a time-management method where you work in focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes), followed by a short break, with a longer break after every few rounds.
Can I change the timer lengths?
Yes. You can customize the focus session length, short break, and long break durations in Settings to match your own rhythm.
Does Cadento work on Apple Watch?
Yes. Cadento has a dedicated Apple Watch app so you can start, pause, and track sessions without your phone.
What are Live Activities?
Live Activities show your running timer directly on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can check your remaining time at a glance.
How do I cancel Cadento Pro?
Cadento Pro is billed through your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone.
Is my data private?
