How to use
Register a spot
From the "My Spots" tab, add a favorite fishing spot by current location or on the map. You can add several.
Check today's sea
On the "Today" tab, see your spot's verdict, the fish you can catch, weather/sea data and best times.
Add the widget
Long-press the home screen → "+" → pick FishGo to add a widget. Check the verdict without opening the app.
View the forecast ahead
Switch dates to see future forecasts. The full two-week plan is available with Pro.
Frequently asked questions
How is the go/no-go verdict decided?
AI evaluates sea conditions — mainly wind speed and wave height, plus tide phase and pressure — into a three-level verdict: Go / Caution / No-Go. It is reference information only; the final launch decision and safety management are your own responsibility.
Where do the tide and weather data come from?
Weather and sea data come from public weather APIs, and tides from the Japan Meteorological Agency's tide tables. Where tide data isn't available, it falls back to estimates based on moon age and astronomical calculation.
Does it work offline?
Fetching the latest forecast needs a connection, but moon age and sunrise/sunset are computed locally. Previously fetched content can still be shown.
How accurate is the fish prediction?
Likelihood is computed as a star rating from season, sea temperature, tide phase and pressure together with each species' traits. As nature is involved we can't guarantee it, but it's a solid guide to what to target that day.
What does the Pro plan offer?
It unlocks forecasts up to two weeks ahead, predictions for all species, unlimited spot registration, and full-day weekly forecasts. Monthly and yearly plans are available.
Can I restore my purchase?
From "Restore Purchases" in Pro, you can restore a purchase made with the same Apple ID.
My widget isn't updating.
Widgets refresh at intervals to be battery-friendly. Opening the app once updates it to the latest verdict. Please also check that location access is allowed.
