FAQ
Does SmokeRing connect to a Bluetooth thermometer or smoker?
No. SmokeRing works entirely by hand entry, with no probes to pair and no hardware to connect. It works with any smoker — offset, kettle, drum, kamado or electric.
Does SmokeRing tell me when my food is safe to eat?
No. SmokeRing is a cooking log, not a food safety advisor. It records the temperatures and times you enter so you can review and learn from your own cooks; it does not provide food safety guidance or ratings.
Can I see how a past cook went, step by step?
Yes. Every finished cook is saved with a temperature curve chart, your notes, and a 1–5 star rating, so you can look back and see exactly how it unfolded.
Does SmokeRing need an internet connection?
No. SmokeRing works fully offline. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no network access required.
Is SmokeRing a subscription?
No. SmokeRing is a one-time purchase. Pay once and log your cooks for years, with no ads and no recurring fees.
