Does CutPlan account for the saw blade width?
Yes. Set the saw kerf (blade thickness) in your project and every cut position and stock count includes the material each cut removes, so the plan matches what actually happens at the saw.
How do I save and reuse scrap from a project?
In the Scrap Library, tap Add to log the dimensions and amount of leftover stock after any project. Tag it with material type and date. When planning your next project, browse available scraps and include them in your material list instead of buying new stock.
Can I use several different stock lengths at once?
Yes. Enter multiple standard lengths and CutPlan works out the combination that produces the least offcut, then tells you how many of each length to buy and where to cut.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Completely. CutPlan runs entirely on your device with no account, no ads and no data collection. Your projects never leave your iPhone or iPad.
